Chuẩn bị 1 cái nồi hấp, văn lửa lớn, trong lúc đợi nước sôi thì bạn rửa ớt (bạn cũng có thể sử dụng ớt sừng), sau đó dùng nĩa xăm vài lỗ lên thân từng quả ớt, lắc với bột gạo cho bột bám đều quanh ớt.

Cho ớt vào lò hấp trong 3-4 phút cho đến khi không còn thấy lớp bột trắng xung quanh ớt nữa. Trộn đều tất cả các nguyên liệu còn lại với nhau rồi lấy ớt ra tiếp tục trộn đều là xong.
