My sister is playing it after purchasing a second hand copy (she initially pre ordered the canceled it) her response was "it's fun... But damn if it lacks so much polish and detail, it's definitely not worth the 60 bucks" And since you can get better games for 60 bucks, I have to agree with her.

I found the story to be a little more than disappointing, but the gameplay changes were impressive. They streamlined everything and made it way too easy imo, but its enjoyable. Wouldnt buy full price.

no I gave the gamei its chance, I was absolutely neutral. This is by far the worst pokemon game ever made in the series. every gym is just 3 meters away from each other. The story is trash, No victory road. its simply the watered , extremely watered down version of pokemon

look it's been the same all along. Gamefreak just can't code for shit. objectivly if it wasn't pokemon the game would probably suck graphic is shite in comparisment to ANY other 60 euro game... there is no easy or hard mode... well there is easy... it's the easiest pokemon sofar even get healed by your rival and inbetween league fights. trading sucks now and prob needs a switch subscription (not 100% on that though) but then again it's pokemon and free roaming pokemon are nice.

Positives I have: Camping and Wild areas are a nice addition and gym challenges are a good way to make them more intresting. Making the pokecenter, mart and move tutor/deleter all at one building is also a convenient plus for the game. Music is great. Negatives: The cut roster to begin with. Animations are still lazy and the graphics are weak. Just look at the shadows of the characters. (They seem to be of even worse quality than Aliens: Colonial Marines.)
