Cần tây, hành tây, ớt chuông cắt hạt lựu nhỏ trộn cùng với tỏi băm nhuyễn. Cho vào chảo xào cùng với dầu ôliu cho đến khi mềm.
Cho ức gà vào chảo, thêm bơ rồi cho lửa nhỏ đậy nắp khoảng 2 phút. Cho nước sốt cà chua vào rồi thêm nước, muối, lá oregano xay vào. Đun ở lửa lớn, khi hỗn hợp đã sôi thì hạ nhiệt độ xuống liu riu khoảng 30-45 phút thì tắt lửa.
Lúc này lấy thịt ức gà ra, dùng 2 chiếc nĩa để xé gà sau đó cho gà vào lại nồi súp. Rau ngò cắt nhuyễn. Chuẩn bị chanh cắt lát cùng 1 muỗng cà phê nước cốt chanh.
Bắc nồi canh lên bếp đun ở lửa vừa, khi canh sôi lại thì tắt lửa, cho rau ngò và nước cốt chanh.
