im imagining in the future where petrol isnt available anymore 2 door lightweight coupe electric motor conventional clutch + 6 speed box + rear wheel drive large loudspeakers under the front luge compartment that plays engine sound that samples at at least 192kHz to make the engine sound realistic + 50hz subwoofer to emulate the vibration i know no manufacturer will be crazy enough to build this but i want one

The drivetrain loss of a gearbox outweight the pros, that's why you don't see them in production cars. If a fixed ratio can get you to 0 to 140 quickly anyway, a gearbox is mostly a waste of energy

Conventional cars estimated drivetrain loss is approximately 15% that would reflect on the mileage of electric car with conventional gearbox.

The issue is that most if not all electric cars have their motors mounted pretty much directly to the wheel, you would need to either have 2 gearboxes like a rimac even so, I think it's a 4 speed. Alternatively you could have one motor going through a gearbox and then the axle like a petrol car. For a manual gearbox you would want the second option for cornering reasons I believe both could be used if wanted and may provide a performance increase especially to at higher speeds, but there will be a weight issue and powertrain efficiency loss. This is only considering a rear wheel drive system, awd is going to be much more complicated. Additionally the clutch will also be needed for shifting but just not for starting as you can't stall

Oooooopr how about we fund gasoline made of algae and corn oil for diesel instead of a system that can fuck us over if theres lack of eletricity and can cause problematic issues with the system beacuse of bugs.

I have thought about this too. I personally would try it but it’s a decent investment that I don’t think I’d be able to sell. I’m saving up for a house so I can’t commit. It sounds like a great idea.

It is possible, but isnt very useful. If want more high speed get bigger wheels but will lose some torque

Well I'm not sure I quite understand the clutch part, but apart from that it should be doable. Of course a system like this will have quite a few disadvantages over a conventional EV in many ways so we're very unlikely to see one from a manufacturer, but I don't see why you couldn't build one yourself. All you'd have to do is find an ICE car that meets your requirements and do an electric conversion.

something i'm more curious about is why they don't make a 1:1 for first gear, then an overdrive for a second gear. that would easily get rid of the issue of top speeds that a lot of them have.
